Protect our Oceans filled with schools of Busy Fish

Working with students (ages 9-10) of Marjorie Tobias Elementary school in Daly City, California. Our workshops with the youth allow them to be the authors of the entire process, from ideation to composition and color, and on through painting. My role as a facilitator is in providing access to the tools, along with encouragement as necessary. Implementing a traditional mural process. Working alongside Ellen Silva, in partnership with Precita Eyes Muralists. “The mural depicts the many colorful fish, plant life, treasure chests, mermaids, and other factual and fictional inhibitors of the underwater world. In this colorful world, the Ocean of imagination is wide open, and the vibrancy of Life is healthy and well.”
